Our History

   The process of construction and installation of the State Institution “Republican Research Center for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology” began in May, 1993. Accomplishment of the first construction stage of the project was due to the year 2002. Thus, on December 31, 2002 the medical-diagnostic building was put into service for 500 visits per shift and on November 7, 2003 the hospital for 360 patients began its functioning.

    The following departments started to operate in the mediacl-diagnostic building:
the hyperbaric oxygenation department, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation department, functional diagnostics department, department of endoscopy, ultrasound diagnostics department, X-ray diagnostics department, computerized and magnetic resonance tomography department, clinical-diagnostics laboratory, radionuclide diagnostics laboratory, pathologoanatomic department with a cytologic laboratory.

    The reception of patients by the hospital has been carried out since November 24, 2003. The hospital includes 10 clinical departments: 4 departments of a therapeutic profile, 3 departments of a surgical profile, reception, intensive care and reanimation department, surgery unit.
